Im 13. im in school. i am wanting to graduate from school to be a general surgeon. since all of you know a lot about life what advice would you give me now in school and later in life. thank you very much. god bless you.Seniors- What advice can you give me about life?
work hard and you will succeed, if you try to cheat your way through life you might end up killing someone (especially if you want to be a surgeon)
also, when it comes to going to college, go to a community college first to get all your basics done (not only will you be closer to home but its cheaper to do as much as you can at a community college)Seniors- What advice can you give me about life?
Hi Samsung well I want to wish you the best in all you do. The main thing I'd like to say to you is be true to yourself %26amp; don't change who you are for other people OK It's better to have 1 true friend then 100 acquaintances. As far as Life in general we all must face it as individuals but get a good education %26amp; enjoy each day as it comes %26amp; do your best OK I wish you all the luck in the world.
My advice is to never choose the easy route because it is just easier. Accomplishments that are of value usually are gained by pursuing that which you understand are the most beneficial and those are usual not the easiest. Disregard everything that does not contribute to the building of good character and reputation. Do the very best that you can in schools that will advance you in your purpose. Be careful to whom you marry.
Do your best in school, take the classes that you know will help you succeed in life instead of the easy classes just because you want to get good grades. Do your homework as soon as you get home, not waiting until the last minute. Take good care of your health. Congratulations on looking forward to wanting to get a good job. I know you know to stay away from drugs and all that junk. Blessings back at you. You sound like a good kid with common sense. You can be friendly to, but don't get involved with people who will drag you down.
Welcome to the US to start. My advise is get an education, set your goals realistically and as you meet each one start a new one. Be honest and respectful to yourself and you will be able to be the same to others. Don't ever let anyone stop you from the path you have chosen. There are many that didn't make their goals and will never because they let others convince them they couldn't make it. they become bitter and will work to keep you from achieving yours. Be miserly with your criticisms and generous with your praise when it comes time for you to lead the way. Live life to it's fullest, love hard and deep, and remember we all have our up and downs but if we don't let the downs break your spirit you'll overcome anything. Good luck and God bless you too.
Study and learn very well NOW. It seems to me that our lives are based on 1/3s. We Learn, We work and we play. For example, If One lives 81 yrs, then approx. 27 yrs for Learning, approx. 27yrs for Work, 27 yrs for Play.
Your primary goal in your first third of Life should be Learning, working %26amp; playing should take a subordinate role. You still need to play some and working a little but the important part is the Education while the opportunity is here. The door for education will gradually get much smaller as one gets older.
In your second third of Life, Your primary goal is Work. Working for career, for family, for One's self. This third is where you have the most physical %26amp; mental endurance and the time of your life for making the most progress %26amp; acheivements. You will continue to Learn but One finds that it may take a lessor role. Your Play time will take a different form and your enjoyment will increase. If you are successful, your next phase can begin sooner.
In your third period, Your primary goal is Play. Your enjoyment includes playing for work, playing with education and playing just for fun. Many SCs are doing just that now.
Plan well. It will be worth your while. It will seem like a very long time to begin with but Life really does go by very quickly. Good Luck!!
See the world every chance you get.
Once life's responsibilities bear down (spouse, children, job etc.) your dreams become deferred.
There is a whole lifetime for responsibilities, don't give up your youth too soon.
Hard work and honesty are always the best way to go. Keep a good sense of humor about life and expect setbacks. Never let things get you down. Get plenty of rest and exercise. Never use drugs, even if they are only to help you get through an exam. The long term costs will be far worse.
You sound like a good kid with good goals. I'll bet your parents are extremely proud of you. I sure would be.
Very good question..My childhood seemed like it ended when I was 25 yrs old. That's when I got married. Even though I had 2 businesses and served in the Army for 2 yrs, I felt like I was invincible and could not get hurt. The marriage responsibility really changed my way of thinking. I now had to share my life, it was extremely hard. But I adjusted to it. Good luck growing up, follow your heart..
Life isn't a destination.....its a journey filled with bumps and flowers to be admired along the way. A man of Character and Humility will have few regrets when the journey comes to an end. good luck and enjoy the ride. Max.
You sound a sensible nice lad,
grab all opportunity's that come your way.or you will regret it.
and remember...it's not the fine words or the feelings in words that makes a person great,.. but the greatness of a person is in his deeds.
work hard, keep focused and keep your nose to the grindstone. never quit. and also, don't be shy about asking for help or aid. what's the most anyone can do but say no. keep on keeping on.
You're in the right country to achieve your goals. Work and study hard and put most other things on hold until in practice. Best of luck to you.
I think you are definitely on the right track. Study and learn what you study, and above all keep your positivity and goals. God Love you and help you. June
Work hard, get your degree(s), stay strong and away from bad crowds. I wish you all the best in your life!
Read the Bible, New Testament first. And Proverbs - lots of wisdom in there.
