Advice on careers and learning something for life.?

I am a woman and I am 43; I say this because some people have given me advice for men not women. thanks





where can I go like a college or school just for 3 months to learn something manual or anything that I can apply as a living but to make money too; I do not mean like be millionaire just to make a good living.





I honestly do not want to spend years going to school as I am not that young and I like being independent as not to have to deal much with too many people or work from home if possible.Advice on careers and learning something for life.?

Well, For one any community college in your area.





Two... there aren't many options if you only want to stay in school for 3 months. That's pretty much enough time to learn basic things - Things most people already know.


You should go atleast 6-9 months.. maybe even a year.


Your 43, what's one more year?


It could be one more year that secures the rest of your life.


But here are some things that don't take long...


Accounting


Child Care


CMA/CNA


Finance


Receptional Work?


Um........


Yeah, thats all that I can think of.





Your best bet would be to go to a local community college and ask to see their classes.
