Advice on careers and learning something for life.?

where can I go like a college or school just for 3 months to learn something manual or anything that I can apply as a living but to make money too; I do not mean like be millionaire just to make a good living.

I honestly do not want to spend years going to school as I am not that young and I like being independent as not to have to deal much with too many people or work from home if possible.Advice on careers and learning something for life.?
I would start by going to Tickle.com. They have a battery of tests that can help you sort out your likes, dislikes, abilities, etc. The general results are free, although they will offer a more in-depth analysis for a price. If you just want to try your hand at home-based businesses, you could try joining my distributorship. I'm a part of the M2CGlobal family of nutrient oriented products. Admittedly, I haven't put much time or effort into it yet; I keep putting it off. But I'm an early entrant, and so there's only a single distributor above me. That's a good place to be. Give it a shot if it feels right for you. Best of luck.Advice on careers and learning something for life.?
Go to school to be a realtor. Realtor's make good money and the profession is not to hard either. YOu are a self-employed contractor and you can work your own hours and make decent income. If you become a realtor full-time and have good customer service skills and a friendly helpful personality you can make up to 100k a year. I have a friend that is some what of a people person but she is shy and she works about 3/4 of the time and she makes about 30k a year selling houses. So the earning potential is up to you. Find a good realtor to work for. The first step is to go online and find a local realtor school that teaches a pre-licensing class and sign up for it. The class times can vary. I took a night class that lasted three weeks every night from 6-10PM. You can take a day class some places like M-F for one week 7AM-6PM and finish your pre-education requirements or you can go on Weekends like All day Saturdays for three months till you get the pre-required 60 hours of education. After you get that education then you are eligible to set for the state exam to get your realtor's licence. Let me tell you the exam is tough, but once you pass then you find a broker you want to work for. Most realtors make a percentage off there listings. 6% for your own listings and 3% off of other realtors listings that you sell. So for example 100,000 dollar house listed by another realtor that you found a buyer for you make 3,000.00.....(less your brokers fee).

Good Luck!
That would kind of depend on your abilities. You might be able to find a short program for web design, you could go to realtor school, you could take the H %26amp; R Block tax preparer class to do tax returns during tax season, there are medical transcription programs, legal transcription programs, etc. --there are some options, but you need to think about what you'd like to do.
I would need a little more info if you could update your question. Did you graduate from High School?

Did you go to College before?

What types of Jobs have you done?

If you did not graduate from high school, my best answer would be to meet with a college representative to discuss what your options are.

However, I am intriqued by your question, because you have stated about learning something for life...

This tells me that you are at a crossroad in your life and you do not know were to turn. I would like to give you something to take with you always.

You need a game plan for your life.

I use the following guidelines and measure them everyday to ensure that I am meeting my Physical and Psychological needs and to ensure that my Goals for a better life is in congruence with these needs.

1. Philosophy

2. Attitutde

3. Activity

4. Results

5. Lifestyle

1. Philosophy is what we know and how we see the world.

This is the Thinking portion of your life.

We have three types of philosophy;

Basic Philosophy, Generalized Philosophy and Refined Philosophy.

Basic you learn up to age three, Generalized you learn throughout your school years to gain meaningful employment, and refined is going the extra mile to achieve all that you can become.

In Basic we develop our understanding what is good from bad, what is failure from success.

With this you learn the extremes on a spectrum as a child, but as an adult, you need to align or marry these concepts together.

Lets get an example here; You have your current state vs your desired state. If you take those two and switch them with your current skill set and the challenge of finding some training and meaningful employment, you must set goals everyday that will allow you to achieve the challenge.

If the challenge is to great and your skill set to low, You will develop anxiety, panic and stress, hence you will not reach your desires.

If the skill set is to high and the challenge is to low you will become bored and will give up, so align the challenge slightly above your skill set and start achieving whatever you want.

2. Attitude

This is the emotional portion of your life.

Question: What is your Philosophy of Attitude?

Attitude is How we feel. How we feel will help you align your needs and goals like a marriage.

Do you want to accumulate the regrets of the past or the skills you need to do what you love to do.

We tend to regret the past and blame others or we fear the unknown of the future.

You need to accept that you are totally in control of how you feel and the more positive you are, the more positive things will come to you.

3. Activity

This is the doing part of life.

I understand your fustrations of going to school for a long period of time but if you search (the Doing) you will find what you are looking for. There are full diploma programs out there that can get you a diploma and good employment in under 1 year. Why do you need to do it in 3 months.

What is your attitude and philosophy about activity?

You have been given a life to explore, learn and achieve anything you set your mind to. Set it to something. Don't just take someone's idea of being a real estate salesman if you do not know about how to develop long-term relationships, It is not as easy as some people say it is.

Ask yourself the toughest question you can:

What can I really DO?

Find the knowledge you need to do it.

4. Results

The is the measuring part of life.

You need feedback, like the feedback I am giving you here to measure yourself accurately. You need to get that from others and not yourself. You also need to assess who you are around.

Are they sincere about you or do they give you lip service.

If you want to save a $1000 by the end of the year you must plan to do it. At the end of the year if you did not save $1000, then you need to give yourself trouble and don't break your own goals in the future.

5. Lifestyle

This is the living part of life.

This is when your open your horizons and do things you have not experienced in life so you can articulate the feeling, philosophy and to say I did that in your life.

I wish you the best, but don't try to rush things, enjoy and enbrace your life, and be happy with yourself. Thing will work out and you will fall into something you love to do.
